BIOGRAPHY
Sheldon Oliver is an American entrepreneur, public speaker, philanthropist, and community
mentor. He was born and raised on the East side of Pittsburgh, PA by his parents. He attended Penn Hills High School until the 10th grade where he would drop out and receive his GED. While growing up Sheldon would witness many types of criminal and illicit activities. He used to run around in the streets selling drugs, bang-banging, and carrying guns.
One day Sheldon was out hustling in the streets and he saw two of his close friends shot down in cold blood. Sheldon often felt desensitized to the violent crimes he's seen, but this incident resonated with him. He knew he had to either get out of the dope game or end up in prison, or like his friends. At age 16 Sheldon had to serve time in jail for a suspected shooting and drugs. His time in jail gave him a chance to see that he needed to change his lifestyle.
Sheldon ended up returning to prison from the age of 29 until he was 35 years old. This time
he was determined to become a productive member of society. He decided to focus on
flying straight and getting his priorities together. He spent years working hard and putting his resources together. Like many aspiring entrepreneurs, Sheldon started finding interest in various business opportunities. He started his very own commercial trucking company, “All of Us Trucking Company. He later started another company called “Eazy Containers LLC.”
Sheldon took the values he learned from his family and started giving back to those who are
less fortunate and under-served in his community. He'd hire individuals who needed a
second chance, giving back became his life's mission. Sheldon created a free CDL drivers
certification training program for young men and women interested in a career in driving.
The Pittsburgh businessman has helped hundreds of students find work and new
opportunities.
